Hello everyone!! I am R, a girl from Nepal. I love reading non-fiction, I often like to write down my experiences. Until now, my readers have been few of my close friends, my significant other and sometimes I share it with my family members.

I am very new to the idea of blogging but I must mention it is @americanepali who inspired me to start my own blog. Her pieces are simple, original and very honest. Kudos to you and thank you for the inspiration :).

My blog will mostly contain my personal experiences, my frustrations, my musings and I will also write about food, since I love cooking and am very fond of food. So, I hope you will stay tuned.

I landed on your page while looking over info. on cancer in Nepal. Hope your mum is doing well!

You have seen/experienced cancer treatment in Nepal and India and am sure know a lot. I was getting treatment in Australia but now thinking over coming back to Nepal for good as not much progress is happening in regards to treatment. What is your take on doctors and follow ups and availability of scans and other stuffs?

Please don’t mind writing to me at bafacha@hotmail.com

    • Hi,

I would recommend going to India rather than Nepal for treatment of cancer. With God’s grace my mum is doing well. In Nepal there is limited resource so going to India for consultation and treatment would be recommended by me. Hope the info helps, good luck with your treatment :). Hope you get over this deadly disease soon.

  7. I really enjoyed Kathmandu, but the trip to get there was exhausting and everything that could go wrong did go wrong. And what’s with all the spitting? =) I have specifically studied Power Places in Kathmandu and wrote a paper on them, and I even read an ethnography about the Newari people. =)

    • Great to know that you have so much interest in Newari culture. Sorry about the your sour experiences but otherwise I must mention Kathmandu is a great city rich with diverse cultures 🙂
